Checking Vehicle Ride Height

After lifting your vehicle, adding special equipment (like a winch, or heavy duty bumpers) or just for fun, it's good to check your vehicle ride height.
Measure the front and rear ride height with the vehicle unloaded (no luggage or passengers), with the fuel tank full, and on a flat surface.

Front Drivers Side: Stock vertical distance between A and B in figure 1 should be 17 cm (6 3/4") plus or mins 13 mm (1/2")
Front Passenger Side: Same as driver side, make sure to take measurement from the top of the axle tube, not shift linkage.
Rear: Stock Vertical Distance Between the top of the axle tube (C) and the underside of the frame (D) on the inside of the bump stop should be 15 cm (6") plus or mins 13 mm (1/2"). (E)

NOTE: When measuring a stock vehicle with a heavy duty suspension
option (or Up-Country package) add 3 cm (1") to all measurements.
